Join Our Young Entrepreneur Support Programme
Lichfield District Council, in partnership with AVolution, is launching a six-week programme designed to inspire young people and give them the skills and confidence needed to begin their own business journeys.
The Young Entrepreneur Support Programme will run from 27 October until 8 December 2025. By combining knowledge, funding and mentoring, Lichfield District Council and AVolution are giving young people in the district the chance to take their first steps into business with confidence.

About the Programme
Open to Lichfield Council students aged 16 to 25, the programme combines hands-on learning with mentorship and micro grants, giving participants the chance to transform ideas into real opportunities.
The programme includes five weeks of training followed by a final week of presentations.
Across the first five weeks, you will attend ten interactive online sessions hosted on Zoom and Microsoft Teams. The workshops cover the fundamentals of business planning, legal and financial basics, marketing and branding, sales strategies and the use of digital tools.
The training blocks are sequenced to follow each stage of the business journey, from shaping an idea to building a digital presence. This structure helps you see how each part connects and what is required to turn a concept into a working business.
In the sixth and final week, you will deliver a five-minute business pitch to a panel of senior AVolution experts, with four winners each receiving a £500 micro grant and six months of mentoring, delivered in bi-weekly sessions.
