Hybrid Meetings, Meeting Spaces and Video Conferencing Challenges
Emperor approached ITSL Group to help enhance their communication spaces as hybrid collaboration became more embedded in their working culture. Their London office’s open-plan huddle space was used for company-wide meetings, CEO presentations and hybrid collaboration with remote teams. The existing AV setup was cobbled together using mismatched laptops, a basic PA system and a video wall with a non-standard aspect ratio, which resulted in poor sound quality, distorted visuals and an unsatisfying setup for all involved.
They sought a professional, intuitive solution that would raise the standard for both in-room and remote participants while making the most of existing infrastructure. Additionally, the Edinburgh office was undergoing a move and required an AV refresh in key meeting spaces with plans to harmonise technology across all locations.

Huddle Space Upgraded with Microsoft Teams Room and Video Conferencing
Installed a Microsoft Teams Room system with QSC digital processing, amplification and zoned ceiling-mounted speakers, enabling centralised and adjustable audio throughout the spaceÂ
Integrated Sennheiser ceiling microphones, allowing focused audio pickup depending on how the room is being usedÂ
Configured a dedicated presenter mode that limits microphone coverage to the front area, helping to reduce distractions during announcements and keynotesÂ
Positioned two Yealink cameras to capture both presenter and audience, with flexible control options through the Teams Room systemÂ
Implemented AMX video-over-IP hardware and BrightSign media players to optimise content delivery on the 2×3 video wall, ensuring correct aspect ratio and native resolution without the need for distortion or reformattingÂ
Developed a straightforward control interface so staff can easily switch between meeting modes based on the session
